CAR ACCIDENT: 13-Year-Old Boy Arrested after Driving Stolen Car in Long Beach

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after he allegedly drove a stolen car and started a chase, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.

According to reports, an 8-year-old child was also found inside the vehicle after the chase. It ended when the boy crashed into a curve along Atlantic Avenue, near Armando Drive.

The identity of the car owner is not yet determined by the police. It is also unknown how long the boy was driving the vehicle before it was reported by witnesses to the authorities.

Reports said both the boy and his passenger did not sustain serious injuries in the accident. They were both rushed to a hospital to receive immediate medical treatment.
